Road Accident: Bus overturns near Tank, 10 injured

DI KHAN: At least ten people were injured when a passenger pick-up skidded off the road on Wana – DI Khan Road on Friday, a police official said.

According to an official of Tank City police station, the vehicle was en route to Tank city from Gomel village in South Waziristan, when it reached Faqira around one kilometre away from Tank city, its front wheel burst causing it to skid and overturned, injuring 11 passengers.

The wounded were identified as Altaf, Israr Khan, Irfan Khan, Mehsud, Qismat Khan, Gula Bai, Shahid Din, Nemat Khan, Saween Khan and Gulap Khan.

They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Tank, while Saween Khan was referred to DI Khan due to the severity of his injuries.
