Water woes: WASA blames low power for irregularity

HYDERABAD: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) managing director, Saleemuddin Ahmed, blamed load-shedding for its failure to ensure regular water supply to consumers.

He said that WASA was mindful of its responsibilities but due to the agency’s bad financial health it could not use generators at any of its facilities.

The situation would get better if load-shedding is reduced, he added.
