This or that?: Formally white

While both Sonam Kapoor and Veena Malik were dressed-to-impress, we can’t seem to decide which one is our favourite.

Last week, Bollywood celebrities Sonam Kapoor and Veena Malik were both seen wearing all white at two different events. While both were dressed-to-impress, we can’t seem to decide which one is our favourite.

Sonam Kapoor

B-town’s beauty Sonam maintained her mark as a style icon and looked dreamy at the promotion of her film Raanjhanaa Ka Lallan. She glowed from head-to-toe in her princess-cut dress, as she posed for the cameras.



Hair & Make-up

Sonam was bang on trend with her hair. Her up-do, somewhat side-ways, was perfect — with folds all around to give her a Greek-goddess look. We can’t emphasise enough on the fashionable hair-dos that are trendy this year. We love the nude lipstick and pink blush with her white outfit. Sonam brought out her eyes by fully outlining them.

Clothes

Showing off her ankle length designer-wear, Sonam looked fresh and fabulous. While Sailex’s creation is perfect for the hot season, it is also formal enough for an evening out. The simple dress, with a unique design coming from the back and going over her left shoulder, was eye-catching. The design also complimented Sonam’s figure.

Accessories & Shoes

Sonam’s fashion sense is always commendable. She knew not to go overboard and only wore tiny pearl earrings. The actor also chose to be comfortable and wore fancy white pumps. While we love her whole look, we can’t understand why she carried a long, bling-less, baby-pink purse.

Veena Malik



Actor Veena, notorious for her outrageous stunts, sizzled in a white-and-gold gown at the premiere of her upcoming movie Zindagi 50-50.  She posed with grace, ready to beat her competition at the box office.

Hair & Make-up

We love Veena’s slicked back, side-parted low bun. The drama queen had on the perfect amount of make-up with great emphasis on her eyes. The peachy tinge in her lip shade sticks out and brings out her lips.

Clothes

The strapless, long gown had a dull gold design, which slipped Veena into the ‘elegant’ category. While the dress only had work on the belt-like portion on the front, the rest of the dress shimmered lightly. We love the perfect fitting of her dress, which covers most of her body for a change.

Accessories & Shoes

Like Sonam, Veena also only chose to wear pearl earrings. She carried a metallic purse in her other hand which is not shown in this picture. While we can’t see her shoes, we’re confident Veena wore a pretty pair of heels to complete her look. Kudos to the stylist who has changed Veena’s look completely!
