The police claimed that both the men were kidnapped and were tortured to death.
The kidnappers shot them multiple times and chopped the bodies into pieces before throwing them away.
Shera Pathan, another one of Pappu’s accomplices, was also killed in a firing incident a few hours later after the bodies were found.
Pappu, as he is commonly known, was one of the key players in the Lyari gang wars.
He was arrested in 2006 but was released on bail in the 60-something cases against him last year.
He was being kept at a jail in Balochistan.

I just read the story of ARSHAD Pappu .How he brutally killed. This is absolutely Babaric act.I can't believe this.Islam didn't allow this.I don't know how these people sleep at nights. I have no words for these people.

Arshad Pappu was the counter-force for the so-called Peoples Aman Committee. Just as the govt. arranged for life-long perks and back-dates salary raises for themselves in the last 48 hours of their rule, they also made sure that Arshad Pappu was out of sight to ease pressure on PAC later.
What the media dare not report, because the killers of Pappu wouldn't allow them to enter Lyari is that, Arshad Pappu's body was hanged in Lyari publically for hours while his tormentors danced triuphantly around it.
If Lyari is so free of crime and violence now, can a media team enter and report on the peaceful happenings going therein?

Its not about only the gangsters, killing each other, its about the failure of state that such BRUTAL incidents occurs in open. These gangsters not only do this inhuman things to rival gangs but also to the INNOCENT citizens of Karachi as well. How the Karachi citizens get rid from theire PROTECTION money demands when they do it too lethal and authoritative in City ?

I still have apprehension that it was not Arshad Pappu's dead body, as after few months, his dead body will be found again, some where from Lyari or some other part of Karachi.

The sad part is that though Pappu and Dakait might be dead, there are many others being spawned exactly where they came from. I believe no human being ever wants to become what these men were but the system creates such thugs because they serve a purpose. If you hand a young, frustrated teenager a gun, then they will become gangsters. I'm sure Pappu and Dakait deep in their hearts regret and resent the choices they made in life.

Gangsters in Lyari were promoted and heavily armed by the PPP leader Zulfiqar Mirza. It was under his patronage that these gangsters started their huge extortion business in Karachi. The law-enforcing agencies particularly the Rangers simply looked the other way and allowed these cruel gangsters to take root in Karachi.
My Question is this that why the persons comes Gangster? like Arshad papu and others who's the responsable of that? no body want to some one called them Gangster so it is all our responsibility to used all our efforts to stop them to become them a Gangster. not only in Lyari but all over the Karachi and all over the Country.

The manner in which this death has been caused seems to be work of another criminal, another mafia don so there's hardly anything to celebrate. May be the unchecked (neither by police nor by an equal criminal) murderer unleashes more cruetly on the poor inhabitants of Lyari. LEAs need to show some guts as well and cleanse the area of all unwanted elements.
