LAHORE:

The provincial government has again deployed all the state machinery at its disposal to prevent PTI from holding a successful rally in the federal capital.

The PML-N-led regime termed the protest rally in Islamabad a ruse to collect funds. Punjab Information minister in a press conference, Azma Bukhari alleged that PTI's aim on Nov 24 is to collect money.

Showing no regard to K-P CM Ali Amin Gandapur, the minister said that even if he manages to reach Islamabad this time, he will have to cross 24 districts to return to Peshawar.

"In Punjab, it will be a significant development even if PTI's prominent MNAs and MPAs come out, let alone the public," she claimed.

"A veiled and nonpolitical woman has been controlling the former prime minister [Imran Khan] via remote. We all know why Ali Amin Gandapur went to Adiala Jail, who he received messages from, and who he was instructed to follow," Bukhari alleged.

Speaking to the media at the DGPR, she remarked that K-P is facing financial and security problems.

"Four people were shot in Bannu, and seven personnel were arrested with weapons in the province. In this troubling situation, the chief minister is chanting slogans of jihad, and using state resources to declare war. These resources, which should be spent on the public, are instead used to benefit Bushra Bibi."

Talking another jibe at Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi, she stated that a woman not involved in politics is identifying giving targets. "Then, she innocently claims to have no interest in politics," Bukhari asserted.
