Westridge Woman deprived of cash; car lifted

Separate cases have been registered against thieves but no arrests or recoveries have been made yet.

RAWALPINDI: A woman was deprived of cash and a car and a motorcycle were stolen in different areas of Westridge during the last 24 hours. 

Mobina Sadiq lodged a complaint with the police that two armed motorcyclists intercepted her on Peshawar Road and snatched her handbag containing Rs30,000 and other valuables.

Meanwhile, Amir Sohail lodged a complaint with the same police that carjackers have stolen his Toyota Corolla (WH-414) from Chur Chowk, Rawalpindi, and Muhammad Yousaf lodged a complaint with the same police that his motorcycle (FZ-7507) has been stolen from outside his house in Zaman Colony.

Separate cases have been registered against thieves but no arrests or recoveries have been made yet.
