LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Mustafabad SHO for February 13.

The accountant has been accused of misappropriating funds and preparing forged receipts. Petitioner Hajira Bano said she was running the Mustafabad branch of The Educator School where Nabeela Waheed had worked as an accountant.

Bano said Waheed had been responsible for collecting student fees and depositing them in the bank. The petitioner said Waheed had misappropriated Rs1,500,000. She said she had tried to register an FIR against the accountant but Waheed’s brother-in-law, Zeeshan Kashif, gave her a cheque for the money.

The petitioner said that when she checked school records she found that Waheed had also prepared forged receipts and bank challans of students’ fees. Bano said the SHO concerned had ignored her complaint. She prayed the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR.
