In this connection, RSPN and ISET co-hosted the ‘Result-sharing session on climate change resilience’ here, says a press release. The study, conducted in four districts along the Indus River – Chitral, Charsadda, Dadu and Mithi – focused on access to basic services within rural communities.
Flood resilient housing and sanitation are, for example, more important in areas subject to inundation than flash flooding. Access to electricity, financial services and improved water and sanitation also helped communities recover faster.
