The Lahore High Court on Wednesday sought a reply from the National College of Arts principal to a petition alleging corruption in the admissions process for 2013.
Muzammal Abbas, who had sought admission to the college, moved the petition through Advocate Aftab Bajwa.
He alleged that the principal and other members of the administration had tampered with admission test results to deprive eligible students of seats in the college so they could then sell those seats to others.
The counsel presented as evidence the petitioner’s answer sheets allegedly showing tampering with the marks given by the examiner.
Bajwa asked the court to take action against the respondents and cancel the admission process for the year 2013.
After hearing the arguments, Justice Shujaat Ali Khan sought replies from the Cabinet Division secretary and the college’s principal by February 1.
