Travellers: PLI introduces insurance scheme

ISLAMABAD: Postal Life Insurance (PLI) has introduced an insurance scheme for people travelling by road, rail and air and initially it has started the facility in northern areas with the help of tour operators and transport companies of Gilgit and Skardu, a PLI official says. In a statement on Friday, the official said expansion of the facility was being considered in a bid to cover more and more areas of the country and asked transport companies to join the scheme. Overseas Pakistanis can also purchase PLI policy during their visit to the country.
