According to Express News correspondent Qaiser Shirazi, the ANF said that the money deposited in the 22 bank accounts was earned illegally by Shahabuddin by allotting quotas of Ephedrine.
The bank officials, complying with the orders of ANF have stopped transactions for the former minister.
Challenging ANF’s decision to freeze his accounts, Shahabuddin filed a petition in the Rawalpindi Bench of the Islamabad High Court, maintaining that the ANF cannot seize his accounts and that they should be activated.
Admitting his plea, the court issued notices to the ANF, seeking a reply by October 10.

I got one account and some time I forget to write down the deductions when paying bills. How could he juggle 22 accounts, in economic term, it is called BANK KIKING. Bank kiking is illegal in the USA but nothing is illegal in Pakistan if you have money regardless of the sources. Was he involved in bank kiking.
Holding 22 accounts its self is shameful, how dare he filed a petition in the Rawalpindi Bench of the Islamabad High Court, maintaining that the ANF cannot seize his accounts and that they should be activated.
