
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of a three-day ‘International Poultry Expo 2012’ at the Expo Centre, Lahore. He appreciated the participation of local and foreign companies, large number of poultry related experts, businessmen, industrialists in the show, being organised from September 28-30.
Khosa, while visiting different stalls appreciated the arrangements of the international poultry expo, said that the expo gathered all the stakeholders of the industry on one platform and it will pave the way to uplift the industry. He said that new approach; technology and equipments should be adopted for the economy and the industry to reap benefits.
He said that poultry farming is the largest rural job provider, engaging workers directly or indirectly and is engaged in socio-economic uplift of the rural population. He said the government will provide full support to strengthen the sector. Meanwhile, K&N’s Executive Director Adil Sattar also received an award from the governor for supplying quality chicken products in the market.
Moreover, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan will inaugurate K&N’s cooking competition on Saturday at main convention Hall, Expo Centre Lahore. K&N’s CEO Khalil Sattar along with distinguished guests will distribute gifts to winners and will brief the media about the poultry industry.
