A lawyer was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Garden area of Karachi on Saturday.
The incident occurred when the gunmen opened fire on Advocate Sardar Zulfiqar's vehicle on Nishtar Road.
According to SSP Javed Akbar Riaz, Sardar Zulfiqar sustained three bullet wounds.
The SSP also revealed that initial investigations indicated that personal rivalry may have been the main cause behind the the incident.
After the killing, lawyers observed a strike at the City Court while courts in district Malir also remained closed in protest.
