QUETTA: The Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs) at state-run hospitals in the provincial capital remained closed on Monday to protest the kidnapping of a surgeon of Bolan Medical College, Dr Din Mohammad Bangulzai. The boycott call was given by the Baloch Doctors’ Forum. Though the doctors refused to attend the patients, they did attend the emergency cases. The National Party and the Balochistan National Party condemned the kidnapping and demanded his immediate release. The Balochistan Levies, on the other hand, has started the operation against the culprits but so far no one has been caught. Dr Bangulzai was kidnapped from Ganji Dori in Lak Pass area of Mastung district on Sunday evening.
