Land Records: Probe into forged transfer deed ordered
Man says his father had died three decades back, leaving behind agriculture land worth millions in the village.
HARIPUR:
The District Coordination Officer (DCO) Haripur Syed Mohsan Shah ordered probe into an allegedly forged land transfer deed in Khanpur on Tuesday. In his application, Muhabbat Khan, a resident of Sultanpur village, contended that his father Sher Muhammad had died three decades back, leaving behind agriculture land worth millions in the village. However, in April this year, he got to know about two kanals of the land was illegally transferred in the name of Rasheed, son of Sultan of the same village. Furthermore, revenue officials including the Haripur revenue officer were involved in the transfer deed. He sought action against the revenue officials for making forged deed by his father who died 30 years back. The DCO directed the revenue officer Naeem Khan to submit him a report within 10 days.
