The group has claimed responsibility for a number of attacks targeting Shia Muslims in the province.
“They belonged to LJ and were identified as Hafiz Naseer and Hafiz Wazir Ali alias Ali Sher Haideri, the spokesperson of the banned outfit,” city police officer Amir Mohammad Dasti told The Express Tribune on Tuesday, adding that the government had earlier announced a bounty on Hafiz Naseer.
According to police, the LJ spokesperson had introduced himself as Ali Sher Haideri to the media while claiming responsibilities for several sectarian target killings in Quetta.
“Several cell phone numbers of media outfits were recovered from them,” an official told the media.
According to official sources, a DNA sample of the terrorists had also been sent to Islamabad to confirm their identities while their bodies were being kept at a morgue in Bolan Medical College (BMC) Teaching Hospital. The relatives of the suspects had identified the bodies as Ali Murad, a resident of Mach and Gul Jan, a resident of Dalbandin.
Earlier, Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani announced half a million rupees for the police party which took part in the operation, in addition to promising them a promotion to next rank.

They are called Hafiz and look what they are doing.... What kind of service to Islam is this?
@Kanwal & @Ali Salman Alvi
Again we are targeting a person who currently does not posses the power to stop these killings. It would have been very nice if you would have asked the same question from President or the Prime Minister or even the So called PM of Baluchistan. If you think Imran khan hasn't condemned any of these acts you better visit the following

If you guys still blame Imran Khan more then the Govt, then i am afraid its quite biased of you.
Well said Ehsan but this is what we all do at most, talk about it.
@kanwal: Imran is a politician and his statement about anything shouldn't be taken seriously. The disturbance in the country is always in their best interest, since their politics revolve around such things, and it's a good way to keep us involved in it, so that we don't go to them and ask them about the corruption they are doing.
good work security agencies, earlier today two bodies of terror organisation bla were found too.
@Ali Salman Alvi: haha. If you can't visit PTI website to know its view on a certain issue, then please don't criticize it. It is not Imran Khan's fault but yours. His policies are clear. The best place to express solidarity with Hazara community was to visit them in person alongwith PTI leadership and IK did just that. But since you have to find faults with him by any means & excuses; you will do so even if he lays down his life for this nation.
@Tehreek-e-Insaf FATA: Please quote any speech of Imran Khan where he condemned Shia killings in public??? I don't have to go to your website to see if IK has criticized Nawaz Sharif or President Zardari for that matter, why should I got to your website to find out if Imran Khan has condemned the killings in a tiny press release that can't be seen anywhere else but PTI's website. Ayub Stadium was the perfect place to condemn the killings as well as the killers of the Shia Hazara community but he didn't utter a single word. I am not talking about his secret visit to any Imambargah, I am talking about his speeches at public gatherings. Please don't twist the facts.
@Ali Salman Alvi: Don't you fear Allah? Imran Khan alongwith PTI senior leadership went to the Hazaras Imambargah in Quetta & offered prayers for all those killed in the targeted killings. See PTI official website for confirmation please. @kanwal: Imran Khan has condemned the killings again and again; in Gilgit, in Karachi, in FATA, in Quetta, everywhere. But everybody should understand that it is not Imran Khan ruling the country. The responsibility lies with the Govt. Imran Khan can only condemn it and he has done it time and again.
Kanwal, You got nothing to do with Imran Khan, you should have said about President Zardari who is the responsible for his poor goverment. Whoever is homicidal, should be given a memorable death penalty so that terrorists can take lessons.
May God bless Pakistan.
We have been badly hunted by terrorism, corrupt govt, poor management, famine and hoep
Look at these despicable faces of hate.
Shame on those militant groups who did enough damage to the image of Islam and Pakistan. Infact, these groups were formed to stop Islamic revolution pouring from the Southern boarders declaring it a shia brand of islamic revolution. The other Islamic sects having majority in 45 countries are trying their best to show something similar but were unable to get support from common people. Failing to that given rise to frustration and has given rise to many terrorists organizations.
Imran Khan himself support sectarian groups like SSP and other extremists involved in target killings of minorities! Damn him!
@kanwal: Imran Khan didn't utter a single word about/against Hazara Killings in his bizarre lengthy speech at Ayub Stadium in Quetta. I repeat Not a Single Word
Looking forward to more encounters resulting in more killings of these barbarians. Pakistani Courts will not hang these terrorists anyway....
May our Pakistan gets clean from these filthy semi-humans of SSP, LeJ, LeT etc
Hope the encounter is not done to protect the elders and supporters of these devils. By the way, does anyone know what did Imran Khan say about the Hazarah killings? Did he say anything at all?
one word, and he will kill you!!!
