ISLAMABAD: The members of National Implementation Watch Committee (NIWC) on Thursday urged public and private organizations to set up mechanisms to deal with cases of sexual harassment and promote zero tolerance for such issues.

The members of Mehergarh and Women’s Organization for Rights and Development (WORD) conducted monitoring visits to assess organizations according to the compliance measures stated in the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act 2010.

A total nine organizations were monitored, a questionnaire was used to collect data. It is aimed at not only getting the laws implemented but also monitoring the organizations to ensure that they are following the processes.
