Divorcee claims sexual harassment, blackmail

Woman had divorced her husband six months earlier after which she developed relations with Allah Ditta.

Rehana*, a resident of Chak 111-P near Rahim Yar Khan, has filed an application with the police complaining against Allah Ditta alleging that he has blackmailed and exploited her for six months.

Rehana, 30, told The Express Tribune that she had divorced her husband six months earlier after which she developed relations with Allah Ditta, a resident of the village, who had promised to marry her.

“I believed that he was going to marry me but he took some nude photographs of me and threatened to circulate them if I resisted.

For two months, he exploited me,” she said. She said he refused to marry her.

Investigation Officer Mohammad Qasim said police had raided Allah Ditta’s home but not found him.
