Sharif said that his party will raise its voice against the issue. “This cannot be tolerated. All of this is happening under the nose of the democratic government.”
Sharif said, “We will move a resolution in the National Assembly to back the missing persons case.” He said that those who will oppose the resolution will be exposed in front of everyone.
“We cannot see this happening to the families of over 1,000 missing persons from across the country,” said Sharif. “Their family members have been picked up by unknown people, they don’t know of their whereabouts and their condition.”
He also extended his party’s support to the missing persons in Balochistan. “I want to assure my brothers in Balochistan that we will raise our voice for them as well. We do not discriminate between provinces,” said Sharif.
“Our heads are hanging in shame because of the society that we live in, who are these people going to go to?”questioned Sharif “I ask, why the government doesn’t inquire about this?”

I like the passion in the PTI trolls because they support IK in the typical Pakistani way, they just love him no matter what. NS has committed his share of mistakes, but on a deeper analysis, there are other things to it as well. If you follow him closely the missing persons case has been on his agenda and was one of the factors why he aligned with Zardari in Bhurban (where he offered to support PPP to curtail army's power). This was a democratic way of going about the issue, he is still vouching for the changes he had asked Zardari to implement in the Bhurban accord. You have the option of voting for him, but please rise above the ok then Zardari? argument. It is not as simple as you have made it out to be.

I refuse to change topic like the status quo leadership (and its followers) do when pushed/tested on their leadership's record.

It is only our great leader who has stood up for the families of the missing people since they took over Punjab government in 2008. They have passed dozens of resolutions, passed numerous laws for the agencies to produce missing people.......
What? I love this guy! First he supported popular ISI, & related agencies actions when they were in his favor. He then started supporting anti-blasphemy crowds & contempt-of-court petitioners. Then released 90% terrorist in Punjab for their "families" support. He is now claiming to be the champion of families of Gitmo prisoners. Da! We knew it all along who was behind anti-state & extremist culture. Poor families will never know who is really their friend, will they?. All he need to plan his next move is Read the Morning Paper and follow the crowd, ha ha!
Well, Baloch's weren't any more well-off (if not worse) under the two tenure you've had Mr. Sharif. If you couldn't anything while you were in power why should I believe you'd do anything now? Unless of course, the thought of brining yet more dirty laundry into the lime-light so the incumbent government's image can suffer gives you some extra incentive to actually make a small difference somewhere, somehow.

Nawaz sharif has been in power for multiple periods in the history of this country. Even the supposedly now-reformed NS took 4 years into this government's term, on an issue that certainly hasn't recently flared up. Reeks of political point scoring in an election year?
On the IK thing: Half the issues readers here say he doesnt talk about, he actually does. If you would spend less energy trying to undermine his credibility as a leader and more of an effort trying to find out what he says..no energy would be wasted. Not yours, not Imran's and .. Not mine.

Take as much political mileage out of Balochistan issue as possible before PTI takes a lead on the issue.I struggle to decide which camp PMLN is in, it keeps changing its positions whenever suitable.
