FAISALABAD:

Three people, including two sisters, were found slaughtered in their house in Naseerabad on Thursday.

The bodies were taken to the Allied Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

Jameela Bibi, a Toba Tek Singh native, mother of the deceased girls, said that she had been living in a rented house along with her daughters, Umm-i-Kalsoom, 20, and Rehmana, 17, and their cousin, Shaukat, 20, after she separated from her husband over domestic disputes with him and her son.

She said she had started working at a factory nearby. She said on Wednesday night when she left the house for the night shift, her daughters and Shaukat were home.

She said when she retuned on Thursday morning, she found the three lying dead in a pool of blood. She shouted for help and some neighbours came over to see what had happened.

Rana, a neighbour, said that the deceased had deep wounds around their necks.
