Car showroomowner shot dead

The owner of a private motor company's showroom was shot dead within the limits of Shahzad Town police station.
As per sources, the family of the owner and managing director of a private motor company's showroom in Aabpara told the police that four to five armed men broke into their farmhouse by locking the security guard in his room and cutting the grill of one of its windows. The showroom owner, Aamir Awan tried to resist them when they opened fire. He was immediately taken to Shifa International Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, police officials have said that initial investigation shows the deceased was hit by two bullets, one in the leg and the other in the stomach. So far, the family of the deceased has not reported theft of any from the house.
The police have obtained samples for post-mortem, and gathered all CCTV footage. They have also geo-fenced the entire area and formed a team to arrest the trace and arrest the accused.
In a separate case, sources reported that two unknown motorcyclists robbed a person named Ghulam Farid of Rs500,000 at gunpoint near a petrol pump of a private company in the limits of Shahzad Town police station.
