'Send Veena Malik to hell' says Bal Thackeray
Thackeray, writing in an editorial published in his party's media organ, Saamna, said that "Veena Malik is a blot on our country's culture."
He was critical of her professional work and her recent 'disappearance', "She goes missing for some days and it appears to be a publicity stunt. . . sometimes she does obscene acts in Bigg Boss and sometimes she gets herself photographed in the nude for magazines," he wrote.
Thackeray questioned the attention accorded to Malik in the Indian media "Veena is not such a big actor from Pakistan that we should go on praising her," he added.
This is not where his tirade ended, and he continued to talk against other Pakistani artists working in India, "there is a trend in Bollywood to hire Pakistani artists. Pakistani actors come to India and do not want to leave."
He also took a swipe at Pakistanis who visited India earlier this year to watch the world cup match in Mohali. "People from Pakistan come to India to watch cricket matches and suddenly vanish. It's difficult to say whether they work for terror outfits or not," Thackeray wrote.

In the end, he wrote that "we should clean up our country and send Veena Malik to hell."

OK OK OK!!!! Shiv Sena is a pacifist party, led by a Philosopher-King. He guards the democratic right of free speech, teaches enlightenment, and has managed to instill in the citizenry the values of honesty and tolerance. These people also beat up other indians on issues like Valentines day and what not. As for killing in the name of religion, isnt too long ago that Tehelka broke the news of investigating RSS (which is the millitant outfit of Shiv Sena) for targetting mosques, their involvement in Samjhota Express blast and other bombings which they carried out to pin blame on Muslims. So cut out the hypocrisy, you are not fooling anyone.

It’s difficult to say whether they work for terror outfits or not" and whatever veena malik does in India nothing but a publicity-stunt. both of those statements are absolute true to the toe..now, nowhere in the actual article or in this edited yellow piece he mentioned about sending her to hell.but,he did say send her to pakistan if the editor translates or views pakistan as a hell,Bal Thackeray shouldn't be held responsible editor's choice of words.it seems to be Bal Thackeray has more following in pakistan than in India

This is the beauty of Indian Democracy -- it accomodates the fuming and thundering Thakerays on one side and also the living-in-dreamland Prakash Karats on the other!!! The critical difference to note for the benefit of my friends across the border - these extreme fringes donot take up arms, function within the ambit of Democracy and follow the secular constitution.

Tackeray is known anti-muslim extremist. promoter of saffron terrorism He doesn't even let Indian muslims let own houses in mumbai. His threats to Pakistani artists is nothing new. We should take him seriously and officially lodge protest
