Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, the chairman of Sindh National Front (SNF), urged all the political parties to unite on a single agenda for ousting the government of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
He questioned the president’s illness and his stay in the UAE for treatment.
“Dubai doesn’t have better health facilities than Pakistan and taking Pakistani doctors along testifies the fact,” he said. “What the nation wants to know is if Zardari is suffering from political or physical illness.”
Bhutto was talking to the newsmen at Circuit House on Monday. Quashing the national reconciliation and the memogate issue make him indictable with high treason, he said.
“His involvement and prior knowledge of the Nato attacks and May 2 helicopter attack on ‘Shaheed’ Osama are also being questioned.”
According to the SNF chairman, President Zardari is passing through the most difficult period of his tenure as he faced pressure from at least four different sides. He said that the PPP government destroyed every institution of the country. “After Zardari is done with the flesh he will not even spare the bones if left in power,” Bhutto said.
He held the president, Interior Minister Rehman Malik and former law minister Babar Awan for being responsible for the death of Benazir Bhutto.
He demanded that they should be charge sheeted.
