All Lit Up: 5 held for Marriage Act violation

FAISALABAD: Five people, including four groomsmen were booked by the Raza Abad Police on account of violation of Marriage Act.

According to police officials, four people were arrested from separate wedding functions for exceeding the stipulated limit on lighting and dishes to be served at the functions. Police officials conducted raids at the wedding functions of Abbas, Hafeezur Rehman, Muhammad Talha and Abdul Hafeez for violating the Marriage Act. Separate cases were registered against hall manager Hajji Mazhar and groomsmen Abbas, Hafeezur Rehamn, Muhammad Talha and Abdul Hafeez who fled the scene and are still at large.
