Investment: Japan and South Korea show interest

KARACHI: Ambassadors of Japan and South Korea see great potential for Pakistan to attract investors, but say that lack of consistency in economic policies and security challenges are limiting foreign investment. Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Hiroshi Oe and Korean Ambassador Choongjoo Choi said this during a visit to the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) where they talked about investment opportunities in Pakistan. The Korean ambassador said Korean investors were learning from the experience of foreign investors and were keen on investing in Pakistan.
