MULTAN: The All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has announced its support to all movements demanding creation of new provinces in Pakistan. Addressing party officials, APML Senior Vice-President Dr Amjad said that the creation of new provinces was the people’s right. He said that the PML-N was obsessed with APML President Pervez Musharraf, who is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on March 23, and saw him as a threat due to Musharraf’s popularity among the people. Amjad said that the party’s officials were working hard and APML offices have already been established in more than 50 districts. Meanwhile, Rashid Qureshi, APML vice-president, said that the party had declared its support for the creation of new provinces at a conference in Islamabad.
