"By accusing Iran they are not going to achieve anything," Ahmadinejad said in a live interview on Al Jazeera television.
When asked whether he thought Iran and the United States were on an inevitable "collision course" towards military conflict, he replied: "I don't think so.
"I think that there are some people in the US administration who want this to happen but I think there are wise people in the US administration who know they shouldn't do such a thing."

Quite possible. America does have a record of manufacturing stuff to prepare grounds for aggression. Besides, what would Iran gain from the plot except further isolation?
Pres.Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sir the US don't have any wise people in their administration. All they have are brainwashed warmongers. Iran must build up its defences against these arrogant warmongers.
The US goofed up this time, no doubt.
Here again we have a power struggle in the style of "Kain and Abel" going on in Iran. Ahmadinejad, the wannabe Abel spoke a more conciliatory tone and Al Khamenei, who envying Ahmadinejad's popularity and keeping an iron grip on the Revolutionary Guard, played the defiant Kain. Foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi, living up to his vocation as the country's top diplomat, assured the world, that they would look into the affair.
