Emma Stone makes surprise 'SNL' appearance during Druski’s hosting debut
Emma Stone joined Druski during his 'SNL' debut, joking about his claim that he was her love interest

Druski's debut as host of Saturday Night Live featured a surprise appearance from Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone, who joined the comedian during his opening monologue to discuss their upcoming film, The Catch.
The 32-year-old social media personality addressed his unusual route to hosting the long-running sketch comedy programme, becoming its first host whose career was built exclusively as a digital creator.
"It is a dream to be hosting ‘Saturday Night Live,’" Druski told the audience, before joking about comments people had made about his appearance and his association with internet comedy.
He also spoke about his first feature film, which he recently completed alongside Stone. The actress then appeared on stage, prompting Druski to tell the audience, "I’m actually playing her love interest in the new movie we just did."
Stone appeared surprised by the claim and responded: "Oh, that… I’m sorry. OK," before explaining that their characters were not romantically involved.
"I think you might have misread that in those scenes because we weren’t love interested in the film, but now it is starting to make more sense to me why you were looking at me like that through all those scenes," she said.
Druski also brought up Stone's recent film Bugonia, telling her, "Also, Emma: I loved you in ‘Bugonia’ as well."
When Stone asked, "Oh my god, really?", he clarified, "No. I just wanted to be the first Black guy to say it."
The Catch is an upcoming Universal Pictures comedy directed by Dave McCary, Stone's husband and a former Saturday Night Live segment director and writer.
