Cardi B shared her youngest child's name in Instagram tribute marking his first birthday

Cardi B has revealed the name of her youngest child, Grey Marsean Diggs, in an Instagram post celebrating his first birthday.
The rapper shared several photographs from her son's birthday celebration on Wednesday, November 4. The event featured a Grey's Anatomy-themed setup, with Cardi also writing a personal tribute to mark the occasion.
"Happy 1st birthday to Grey Marsean Diggs! It's only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I've had you at my side forever," she wrote.
Reflecting on her pregnancy, Cardi explained that she had carried her son during an uncertain period in her life and credited the experience with giving her additional strength.
"I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me extra strength," she continued.
She also described the impact of becoming a mother again, writing, "I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life! You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like."
Cardi added that her son's smile, laugh and personality brought happiness into her life.
A representative for the musician confirmed in November 2025 that she had welcomed a baby boy with American football player Stefon Diggs, her former partner at the time of the report.
"Cardi is healthy and happy," the representative told People magazine following the birth.
Cardi had also announced the arrival of her son in an Instagram post, sharing a video of herself lip-syncing to "Hello", a track from her album Am I the Drama?.
In the caption, she reflected on entering a new chapter of her life and described her baby as another reason to work towards becoming the best version of herself.
