Maria Bartiromo breaks her silence after leaving Fox News, thanking supporters and hinting that more is still to come

Maria Bartiromo has spoken publicly for the first time since her sudden departure from Fox News and Fox Business, thanking supporters and hinting that she has more to say about what happened.
Bartiromo shared a post on X on Thursday, expressing gratitude for the messages she received following her exit. Alongside a photo of a rainbow breaking through clouds, she wrote that she was grateful for the “outpouring of love” from friends and followers.

The former Fox anchor also teased that “more” was still to come, without providing further details about her plans or the circumstances surrounding her departure.
Fox News announced on September 3 that it had parted ways with Bartiromo after more than 12 years with Fox News and Fox Business. The network thanked her for her work and wished her well in her “next chapter”.
However, Bartiromo’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, disputed reports that she had been fired. In a statement the following day, he said reports claiming Bartiromo was no longer a Fox employee were “absolutely and unequivocally false” and indicated that she was prepared to take legal action.
Reports have since raised questions about the circumstances surrounding Bartiromo’s exit. According to a report citing a source familiar with the situation, Fox News believed Bartiromo had shared a network directive with the White House regarding staff coverage of claims made by President Donald Trump.
Trump also reacted to Bartiromo’s departure, saying he was surprised that Fox had taken her off the air and praising her as a professional and a “true warrior”.
Bartiromo joined Fox in 2013 after establishing a career as a business journalist. She hosted programmes across both Fox News and Fox Business in recent years.
Her latest social media post does not clarify what comes next, but her promise of “more to come” suggests she may address her Fox News exit in greater detail.
