MQM-P demands release of Gul Plaza inquiry report

KARACHI:

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar has approached the Sindh Information Commission seeking the release of the inquiry report and related official records of the Gul Plaza tragedy.

Accompanied by Advocate Moshir Tariq Mansoor, Dr Sattar submitted an application to the commission requesting complete access to the inquiry commission's report and proceedings related to the incident. He noted that it was the legal and moral responsibility of state institutions to make the facts of such tragedies public and identify those responsible.
