Miley Cyrus gets nostalgic over Hannah Montana fame
Miley Cyrus looks back on Hannah Montana, fame at a young age, and advice for her younger self in new interview

Miley Cyrus is looking back on her Disney Channel beginnings, sharing personal memories from “Hannah Montana” and reflecting on how early fame shaped her life.
In a new interview with Variety, published ahead of her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, Cyrus discussed her favorite episodes from the hit series and what it was like growing up in the spotlight.
The singer revealed that her favorite “Hannah Montana” moments were episodes featuring Dolly Parton, who played a key role in strengthening their real-life relationship. She also mentioned enjoying episodes where she portrayed her character’s cousin Luann, highlighting her love for playing multiple roles within the same show.
Cyrus said growing up around her father, country star Billy Ray Cyrus, made her transition into fame feel natural. Unlike many child stars, she explained she never felt overwhelmed by Hollywood, since she was already familiar with touring and entertainment life from an early age.
She also reflected on how quickly her life changed once “Hannah Montana” became a global success, noting that much of it now feels like a blur. Looking back, she said she wishes she had been more present in certain moments rather than constantly thinking about the next step in her career.
Cyrus emphasized that those early experiences ultimately shaped her into the artist she is today, helping her understand both the pressures and privileges of growing up in the entertainment industry.
