'Danny Go!' star Daniel Coleman announces son Isaac has died at 14 following cancer battle

Daniel Coleman, the creator and star behind the popular children’s series Danny Go!, has announced the death of his 14-year-old son, Isaac, following a battle with aggressive cancer.
Isaac died on May 21 after being diagnosed with stage 3 mouth cancer in December 2025. His condition was further complicated by Fanconi anemia, a rare genetic disorder that significantly increases the risk of cancer and other serious medical issues.
Coleman shared the heartbreaking news in an emotional social media tribute, describing Isaac as joyful, resilient, and courageous throughout his illness. He said being Isaac’s father was “the greatest honor” of his life and reflected on his son’s ability to remain positive despite years of health challenges.
The Danny Go! creator had previously kept fans updated on Isaac’s condition over the past several months. Earlier this year, Coleman canceled his 2026 tour to focus on caring for his son and supporting his family during treatment.
In April, Coleman revealed that Isaac’s cancer had spread aggressively and that the family had transitioned to hospice care with a focus on comfort and pain management.
Launched in 2019, Danny Go! became a major success on YouTube and streaming platforms for its educational music and dance content aimed at children. The channel has built a massive following among families and young viewers.
Isaac is survived by his parents, Daniel and Mindy Coleman, and his younger brother, Levi.
