‘Euphoria’ star Chloe Cherry says years of lip fillers left her able to skip numbing cream during procedures
Actor says public fascination with her appearance became overwhelming after breakout role in HBO drama series recently

Chloe Cherry has spoken candidly about her long history with cosmetic procedures, revealing that she has undergone lip filler treatments so many times that she no longer requires numbing cream during appointments.
The 28 year old actor made the comments during a recent appearance in Vogue’s popular Beauty Secrets video series, where celebrities discuss skincare, makeup routines, and cosmetic experiences while preparing for camera appearances. Cherry explained that lip filler has become a familiar part of her routine after years of repeat procedures.
Cherry said she initially turned to Botox and filler treatments because she was unhappy with aspects of her appearance. She added that the process eventually became something she continued regularly over time. During the interview, she also remarked that repeated Botox injections in her forehead may have weakened the muscle due to frequent treatments.
The actor previously discussed her cosmetic history during a 2022 appearance on the BFFs podcast, where she estimated that she had her lips done around 15 times. At the time, she acknowledged that most people usually maintain filler through appointments spaced several months apart, but admitted she had exceeded that frequency.
Cherry joined Euphoria during its second season, portraying the character Faye. Her performance on the widely discussed HBO drama significantly increased her public profile and brought intense attention to her appearance online. Since then, conversations surrounding her lips and cosmetic enhancements have frequently circulated across social media platforms and entertainment headlines.
In earlier interviews with Variety, Cherry admitted she was surprised by the scale of the public reaction to her appearance. She explained that before becoming famous, the changes to her lips did not attract the same level of commentary from people around her. Once her role in Euphoria brought mainstream recognition, however, memes and online discussions about her face became common.
Cherry has also previously spoken about the pressures she experienced before fame. In past interviews, she discussed struggling with body image and eating issues during her earlier career in the adult entertainment industry before transitioning into mainstream acting.
The growing openness from public figures about cosmetic procedures has become increasingly common in entertainment, with many celebrities discussing fillers, Botox, and plastic surgery more directly than in previous decades. Several stars in recent years have reflected publicly on both the benefits and regrets connected to cosmetic enhancements, contributing to broader conversations about beauty standards, ageing, and public scrutiny in Hollywood.
Cherry’s latest comments have continued that discussion online, with supporters praising her honesty while others debated the pressures celebrities face regarding appearance in the social media era.
