Actor Nick Pasqual found guilty of attempted murder after stabbing makeup artist over 20 times
The case also revealed that Shehorn had filed a restraining order against Pasqual due to domestic violence concerns

Actor Nick Pasqual has been found guilty of multiple serious charges, including attempted murder, following a violent 2024 home invasion in which he stabbed Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn more than 20 times at her Los Angeles residence.
According to court findings, the attack took place in the early hours of May 23, 2024, when Pasqual allegedly broke into Shehorn’s home and carried out the brutal assault. Prosecutors said the stabbing caused life-threatening injuries, and Shehorn required extensive emergency surgeries and a long recovery period.
The case, which shocked Hollywood, also revealed that Shehorn had previously filed a restraining order against Pasqual due to escalating domestic violence concerns. Despite this, he reportedly forced entry into her home before fleeing the scene after the attack. Authorities later arrested him near the US-Mexico border following a manhunt.
During the trial, Shehorn gave emotional testimony describing the night of the attack and the events leading up to it, while prosecutors emphasised the severity of the violence and the domestic abuse context surrounding the case. Shehorn survived after undergoing multiple surgeries and months of recovery.
On May 8, 2026, a California court delivered the guilty verdict, convicting Pasqual of attempted murder along with additional charges related to burglary and domestic violence. He now faces a potential life sentence, with sentencing scheduled for June 2026.
The case has reignited conversations in Hollywood about domestic violence, restraining order enforcement, and victim protection, as Shehorn continues her recovery and has since returned to work in the film industry.
