ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) inaugurated its art exhibition titled "Azm-e-Marsoos: Young Artists Commemorate One Year of Marka-e-Haq", on May 6, 2026, at the National Art Gallery, Islamabad.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Lt. Gen. (retd) Humayun Bangash, a distinguished figure in the field of calligraphy known for his contributions to Pakistan's cultural heritage. He was accompanied by Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division Aurangzeb Khan Khichi and PNCA Director General M. Ayoub Jamali, along with a large number of artists, students and distinguished guests.

"Azm-e-Marsoos" translates the spirit of resilience and unity from the battlefield to the canvas. The exhibition brings together young artists from across Pakistan to reflect upon and reinterpret the meaning of "Marka-e-Haq" for a new generation. Through paintings and mixed media works, participating artists explore themes of courage, sacrifice, unity and the enduring bond between the people and their defenders.

The artworks on display move beyond commemoration of a military achievement. They serve as affirmations of cultural continuity. They demonstrate how the strength and resolve of the nation's Armed Forces are transformed into creative expression by the country's youth. Each piece stands as a testament to a collective resolve, solid, united, and enduring, expressed through creativity and shared memory.
