The Pakistan Hindu Samaj held a celebration of Jashn-e-Marka-e-Haq outside the Karachi Press Club on Sunday, expressing solidarity with the Pakistan armed forces.
The event was led by Pakistan Hindu Samaj Chairman Dr Rakesh Motiani. Members of the Hindu community waved Pakistani flags and raised slogans in support of Pakistan and its armed forces.
Participants paid tribute to the military for what they described as a decisive victory in Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos against India. They also expressed full solidarity with the armed forces and saluted Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Dr Rakesh Motiani said Pakistan is a peaceful country where all minority communities, including Hindus, enjoy full protection and religious freedom. He added that Pakistan's message is one of peace, and credited the armed forces for defending the country with bravery under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir.
He further stated that the Hindu community stands with Pakistan and its armed forces and is ready to make any sacrifice for the defence of the country. He also reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to national development.
During the gathering, participants carried banners featuring images of the military's service chiefs and chanted slogans such as "We are one under this flag."
