The IGP stressed that in view of the prevailing security situation in the country, Eid security measures must be further strengthened. He directed all units to ensure effective intelligence sharing and threat assessment coordination.

He further ordered acceleration of intelligence-based operations and effective combing operations in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies to curb street crime.

A zero-tolerance policy against criminal elements must be strictly implemented, he added.

IGP Sindh also instructed enhanced patrolling, snap checking and establishment of checkpoints across all districts, while strengthening security at entry and exit points, border areas and highways.
