The Silent Hill f manga has officially launched, marking a new chapter in Konami’s long-running horror franchise. The first instalment appeared in Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up magazine, introducing readers to a fresh adaptation of the latest entry in the Silent Hill series.

Illustrated by Ame Gokin, the manga features a new ending written by Ryukishi07, who also worked on the game’s narrative.

While the total number of chapters has not been confirmed, the debut signals an expansion of the franchise beyond video games and into print media.

Set in the rural town of Ebisugaoka, the story follows student Hinako Fukamizu, whose everyday life takes a sudden turn.

According to the official description, “Ebisugaoka, a rural town surrounded by mountains. In this declining town, student Hinako Fukamizu harbored feelings of aimlessness. That morning, Hinako met up with her classmates at her usual candy store and enjoyed lighthearted conversation. It was supposed to be just another ordinary day. Until that ‘monster’ appeared— The highly popular psychological horror series, the long-awaited latest installment set in Japan, is now a comic adaptation with a ‘new ending’ drawn by Ryukishi07.”

At present, the manga has not been translated into English, and no western release has been announced. However, given the franchise’s established audience in North America, further distribution may follow.

Silent Hill f continues the series’ focus on psychological horror, combining supernatural elements with personal struggles. The broader franchise also remains active in gaming, with additional projects including Silent Hill: Townfall and a remake of the original title currently in development.
