‘Heated Rivalry’ breakout Connor Storrie joins Criminal Minds: Evolution cast
Criminal Minds: Evolution gets season 20 renewal at Paramount+ as Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie joins

Paramount+ has renewed Criminal Minds: Evolution for a milestone 20th season, with the crime drama set to return in 2027.
The streamer also announced that the upcoming season will premiere on May 28, alongside a first look trailer showcasing the Behavioral Analysis Unit’s latest case.
In a notable casting addition, Heated Rivalry breakout Connor Storrie is set to guest star in the coming season. Details about his role remain under wraps, but Storrie joins an extensive roster of guest talent that includes Justin Kirk, Yvette Nicole Brown, Clark Gregg, Paul F. Tompkins, Jeri Ryan, and Nicholas Gonzalez, among others.
The series, considered a continuation of the original Criminal Minds which ran for 15 seasons on CBS, was revived in 2022 with the Evolution subtitle. The revival follows the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit as they tackle complex, high-stakes cases that push the team to their limits.
Returning regular cast members include Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Zach Gilford, RJ Hatanaka, Adam Rodriguez, and Paget Brewster. Erica Messer continues as showrunner and executive producer alongside Breen Frazier, Chris Barbour, Glenn Kershaw, and Mark Gordon.
The newly released first look for the upcoming season teases a gripping mystery, with the BAU investigating the death of a missing young man whose crime scene bears eerie similarities to a cold case from three decades ago.
Criminal Minds: Evolution is produced by 20th Television and CBS Studios. The May 28 premiere marks the beginning of the series’ 19th season overall, with the recently announced 20th season slated to debut in 2027.
Storrie’s guest appearance adds to a busy year for the actor, who recently hosted Saturday Night Live and continues to gain momentum following his breakout role in the hit series Heated Rivalry.
