'Bridgerton' season 5 sets Francesca and Michaela as romantic leads

Netflix’s hit period drama Bridgerton has officially set the romantic leads for its upcoming Season 5, with Francesca Bridgerton (played by Hannah Dodd) and Michaela Stirling (played by Masali Baduza) at the center of the next chapter. Season 5 is currently in production, with the new storyline expected to focus on the emotional and romantic journey between the two characters. 

According to the official announcement, Season 5 adapts the storyline from When He Was Wicked by Julia Quinn, though the show takes creative liberties by reimagining the character of Michael as Michaela, broadening the romance into new territory for the series.
