Pakistan committed to eradicating terrorism: FM Dar

DPM also hails martyrs, reaffirms Kashmir support

ISLAMABAD:

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister said on Monday that Pakistan remained firmly committed to eradicate the menace of terrorism.

Dar made the remarks as he greeted the nation in a message on Pakistan Day.

Pakistan's actions inside Afghanistan against the menace of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij/TTP are directed towards this goal, he said.

"Our brave sons of the soil are sacrificing their lives in its pursuit. We pay tribute to our martyrs and heroes, who have rendered supreme sacrifice for the betterment of our collective future," he added.

Pakistan and Afghanistan engaged in a confrontation after Islamabad launached airsrikes against terror hideouts inside Afghanistan. Afghanistan later launched a cooredianted strikes on Pakistani posts, sparking an active confrontation between the two neighbouring countries.

On this day, the DPM/FM said that they could not forget their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and the exceptional sacrifices given by them in their quest for the inalienable right to self-determination.

He said Pakistan remained steadfast in its commitment to providing moral and diplomatic support until the oppressed individuals of IIOJK attain their right to self-determination.

He also extended warm greetings to fellow Pakistanis living abroad and commend their patriotism, dedication, and hard work.

"Each day, they proudly represent Pakistan internationally and play a vital role in shaping the country's future success," he added.
