Sarah Pidgeon enters talks to star alongside Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal in Honeymoon With Harry

Sarah Pidgeon is in negotiations to join the upcoming feature film Honeymoon With Harry, a dramedy in development at Amazon MGM Studios. 

The project already has Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal attached to star.

Pidgeon recently gained recognition for her role as Carolyn Bessette in Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, produced by Ryan Murphy. Her previous credits also include I Know What You Did Last Summer and the Broadway production Stereophonic, further establishing her presence across film, television and stage.

The film will be directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, working from a script by Dan Fogelman. The trio previously collaborated on the romantic dramedy Crazy, Stupid, Love, as well as the Hulu series Paradise.

Based on the novel by Bart Baker, Honeymoon With Harry follows a man who unexpectedly embarks on a honeymoon trip with his late fiancée’s father after her sudden death just days before their wedding. Set against an island backdrop, the story explores grief, conflict and an evolving relationship between the two men.

Gyllenhaal will portray the grieving fiancé, while Costner is set to play the protective father. The film blends emotional storytelling with moments of humor as the characters navigate loss and connection.

The project is being produced by Dan Fogelman alongside Mike Karz and Jennifer Salke, marking Salke’s producing debut under her Sullivan Street Productions banner.
