RAWALPINDI:

After the implementation of the petroleum-saving policy, Judicial Complex and tehsil courts have witnessed an unusually quiet atmosphere.

Prisoners from Adiala Jail were not produced before session courts, civil magistrates or special courts, resulting in a visible decline in activity at the Judicial Complex and district courts.

Only a small number of lawyers appeared in courts after the implementation of the petroleum-saving policy. Cases that had been scheduled for hearings on Friday and Saturday were postponed without proceedings and given new dates after Eidul Fitr.
