Mythic responds to VTuber Grimmi claims over campaign payment discrepancies
Mythic disputes VTuber Grimmi’s claims it skimmed campaign payments and says records show she was paid in full

Talent management company Mythic has responded to allegations from former creator Grimmi regarding campaign payment discrepancies, disputing claims that it “skimmed” money from two brand activations.
In a public statement posted on X on March 8, the company said it had reviewed internal records following Grimmi’s comments and maintained that she was paid according to the terms of her contract.
“Mythic is aware of public statements made by a former talent, Grimmi, regarding payment discrepancies,” the company said. “We take her allegations seriously and have conducted a thorough review of our records.”
The company rejected claims that funds had been withheld from two campaigns referenced by the VTuber.
“The claims that Mythic ‘skimmed’ funds from her two campaigns are factually incorrect,” the statement read. “Our records indicate that Grimmi was paid in full for both cited activations, per contract terms and according to the terms of her talent agreement.”
According to Mythic, the campaigns referenced in the dispute were valued at $2,100 and $4,400, respectively. The company said the first activation was paid in full minus a previously agreed management fee. It added that the second campaign was also paid in full, with only the management fee and any banking costs deducted.
Mythic also addressed figures cited by Grimmi in her allegations. The company stated that if the $100 and $400 amounts she referenced had actually been deducted from payments, the total sums she received would have been lower.
“Had Mythic ‘skimmed’ the $100 and $400 amounts alleged by Grimmi, her payouts would have been significantly lower,” the company said.
The statement added that payment platform logs and bank records could independently verify the transactions referenced in the dispute.
Mythic also said it attempted to contact Grimmi to discuss the matter before it became public and provided her with documentation related to the campaigns.
“We remain open to reviewing any documentation Grimmi may have that contradicts them,” the company said.
