A devoted fan of Heated Rivalry managed to beat the rush and secure a stay at the show’s famed cottage after overwhelming demand led to an instant sell-out on Tuesday.

The lakefront property, known as Barlochan Cottage and located in Ontario’s Muskoka Lakes, serves as the setting for the emotional season finale of the hit Crave hockey romance. When bookings officially opened, fans flooded the reservation system within moments, snapping up the limited May stays almost immediately.

Despite the intense scramble, one fan confirmed they successfully secured a reservation and described feeling “ecstatic” after navigating the high-pressure booking window.

The three-bedroom retreat has become a pilgrimage site for viewers since it featured prominently in the story of rivals-turned-lovers Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. Its availability sparked widespread anticipation, with social media buzzing in the hours leading up to the launch.

High demand meant most hopeful guests were left refreshing their browsers as dates vanished in seconds. But for at least one lucky fan, the booking frenzy ended in victory, and a spring getaway in one of television’s most talked-about romantic settings.
