Katy Perry faces renewed scrutiny amid Josh Kloss claims and Ruby Rose accusations
Josh Kloss revisits claims against Katy Perry, describing alleged incident as new scrutiny surrounds singer

Katy Perry is facing renewed scrutiny after actor Josh Kloss revisited allegations regarding an incident he claims occurred during a party more than a decade ago.
In an interview with Page Six, Kloss said he has carried “silent trauma” since the alleged encounter, which he first publicly addressed in 2019. The actor, who appeared as Perry’s on-screen love interest in her hit song Teenage Dream, claimed the incident left him feeling “devalued and degraded.”
Kloss stated that the alleged event took place at a private gathering hosted by stylist Johnny Wujek in California. He alleged that Perry exposed him in front of others without consent, describing the experience as distressing and not a joke or prank. Kloss added that he chose to speak out again following recent allegations involving actress Ruby Rose, who has also made claims against the singer.
Representatives for Perry have not responded to the latest claims, though previous statements have strongly denied allegations made against her. In earlier interviews, the singer has maintained that public accusations can spread without verification and has declined to address individual claims in detail.
The situation has drawn renewed attention to past controversies involving Perry, including criticism over a televised interaction on American Idol. Meanwhile, Kloss emphasised that his intention in speaking out is to share his experience rather than seek retaliation.
The developments have prompted wider discussion across social media and the entertainment industry, as conversations around accountability and consent continue to evolve.
