Prince William gives playful response when asked about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding

'I’m sure there might be an invitation around,' William said when asked if he has been invited to Swift's wedding

Prince William had a cheeky reaction when asked whether he had received an invitation to the upcoming wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The Prince of Wales laughed off questions about the celebrity wedding while appearing on the UK radio show Heart Breakfast.

When hosts pressed him about whether he had been invited to the highly anticipated ceremony, William responded with “No comment” before adding, “I’m hoping and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see.”

The comments quickly fueled speculation online about whether the royal family could attend the wedding, especially given William and his children’s well-known admiration for Swift. During the interview, William revealed that Princess Charlotte is particularly “obsessed” with Swift after attending her Eras Tour concert in London in 2024.

Swift and Kelce previously met William, Charlotte and Prince George backstage during the Wembley Stadium stop of the Eras Tour, where the group posed for photos that later went viral on social media.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 and have reportedly kept wedding plans largely private, though multiple outlets claim the ceremony will take place this summer in New York.
