'Speeding, reckless' driving claim two bikers' lives
11 schoolchildren injured in separate road mishap on II Chundrigar Road

A young motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident near Magsi Chowk in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Monday, while 11 schoolgirls sustained minor injuries in a separate road mishap on II Chundrigar Road.
The fatal accident occurred in the Malir Cantonment police limits where a motorcyclist lost control of his bike due to over speeding. The rider reportedly fell off the motorcycle and struck the footpath, resulting in his death on the spot. His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities.
SHO Malir Cantonment Agha Abdul Rasheed said the deceased appeared to be around 24 years old, and his immediate identification could not be ascertained. Efforts are underway to establish his identity.
In another incident, a private school coaster went out of control near Cafe Bogie on II Chundrigar Road and mounted the footpath, injuring 11 schoolchildren. The injured were shifted to hospital by Edhi ambulances, where their condition was reported to be stable.
Police said the accident occurred due to brake failure. The coaster was carrying students and teachers and was heading for a picnic when the mishap took place.

A young motorcyclist was killed and another injured after a speeding car rammed into their motorcycle near Hasan Square in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
The accident occurred in the Aziz Bhatti police limits. Both victims were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by Chhipa ambulance.
A Chhipa spokesperson said the deceased was identified as 25-year-old Hussain, while the injured youth was identified as 19-year-old Nauman, son of Shah Zameen. The accident occurred due to overspeeding. Police have arrested the car driver responsible for the accident, while further investigation is underway. Both the deceased and the injured were residents of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
