Final polio drive of theyear kicks off
Over 80,000 workers deployed in 30 districts for 7-day campaign

Sindh on Monday launched its final anti-polio campaign of the year, with Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Provincial Health Minister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho inaugurating the drive by administering polio drops to children at a CME school near Bhimpura Muslimabad, close to the Old Haji Camp.
According to the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) Sindh, the seven-day campaign will continue until December 21. During the drive, more than 10.6 million children will be administered polio drops across 1,345 union councils in all 30 districts of the province.
Health authorities revealed that more than 80,000 frontline polio workers will take part in the campaign, supported by over 21,000 security personnel, including 400 female police constables, to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, CM urged parents to ensure that all their children receive polio drops during every campaign.
